Frequently Asked Questions
Works, photo prints & paintings
Is the artwork accompanied by a hanging system?
Nails and screws are not provided with your artwork, to allow you to choose the most suitable materials for the nature of your wall and your display space.
However, a hanging system with aluminum rails is available. Both discreet and refined, it ensures a stable fixing and an elegant presentation. You can select this option when setting up your order.
How to care for your artwork – Photos under Plexiglass, on Aluminum Dibond, or on Canvas?
To preserve the beauty and depth of your work, gently dust it with a soft, dry cloth, ideally made of microfiber.
Avoid cleaning products containing alcohol or ammonia, as well as applying too much pressure when wiping. These precautions ensure the lasting quality of the colors and the fineness of the details over time.
What types of works are suitable for the kitchen or the bathroom?
- In the kitchen
The choice of the ideal support depends on the location of your artwork. As a general rule, all our finishes can be installed in a kitchen, provided they are placed away from heat sources (oven, stovetops). For more exposed areas, prefer prints on metal, equipped with a protective coating that is durable and easy to clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
Avoid any contact with acidic or abrasive products, which could damage the surface or the colors.
- In the bathroom
Works incorporating photo paper or plexiglass are generally not suitable for damp environments. For a wet room, rather choose moisture-resistant supports, such as direct printing on Alu-Dibond, known for its stability and durability.
Do you use plant-based inks?
Traditional photo prints contain certain animal-derived components, notably gelatin. In contrast, our Fine Art prints on Hahnemühle paper are made with 100% plant-based inks, environmentally friendly and of museum quality.
Also printed with plant-based inks are: artistic canvases, in matte or glossy versions, as well as textile prints by sublimation.
